How it all began...

PHIL BASFORD Garden Machinery is proud to celebrate 40 years in business. Phil and Rita Basford founded the company in 1977 and were later joined by sons Ian and Dean. Since then the company has expanded and prospered, with wives and grandchildren also supporting the work of this well respected local family business.

In the early years the company was located in a small workshop near Bretforton primarily engaged in the repair of market gardening equipment such as rotovators and irrigation water pumps.   With the addition of Ian and Dean joining the business they expanded into garden machinery and relocated to much bigger premises adjoining Littleton and Badsey Growers in Blackminster and where the company is still based today.

Now selling the whole range of machinery and equipment you are likely to wish for in your garden, the company pride themselves on offering excellent service, professional advice and great value for money.

But its not just about selling new machines, Ian and Dean have amassed many years experience in the trade and when it comes to repairs, servicing and maintenance their knowledge and expertise is second to none.

"We are proud of how the company has developed from our Dad's first ideas and vision to the reputation and place it has in gardening in the Vale of Evesham today, 40 years in business is a great achievement and a milestone we both know Dad would have been very proud of."
